Camp Update

WeiKem is taking a “timeout” in 2017.

We know this news may be disappointing to WeiKem volunteers, coaches, campers and parents and those who were hoping to come this year. We had an absolute blast at the last few WeiKem Soccer Camp we’ve hosted, and we’re so proud of how those camps have brought the community together and share a unified, positive soccer experience that encourages an individual to learn the sport and be on the same “level playing field” as others that are deaf or hard of hearing. We’ll definitely miss seeing all of you this year.

So, what’s up with that? Well, as you can imagine, WeiKem is a huge undertaking and it consumes a lot of time and energy. Sometimes the organizers have to know when to say “time out” so that we can provide a better camp in the future years.

Thanks for understanding our need to focus on current obligations and brainstorm for ideas to bring better camps in the future.
